The Engine Room

Rachel and Will’s love story began in college. They were just friends, for a WHILE. The thought didn’t even cross their mind of being together. But that all changed! Love built on the foundation of friendship is one of the most beautiful stories. What I love about Rachel and Will is their devotion to Jesus, to their community, and to each other. They are made for each other! And pretty much do all of the same sports and activities, TOGETHER. One of their favorite things to do together is to run marathons! It’s pretty impressive, and a joy to see how God put them together.

Justin (my wonderful husband and my favorite second shooter) actually knew Rachel and Will personally before referring me to them. They were students that were a part of the college ministry that Justin leads. He especially built a super close friendship with Will. It was an honor that they reached out to us to shoot their wedding! I was excited to get to get to know them and capture their story. (It’s been some time now, and I’ve had to privilege of becoming closer friends with them too!)

Their wedding was so beautiful! First off, The Engine Room is where my husband and I wanted to get married. We just ended up choosing the free option haha, which is the church we both go to. So I was super ecstatic to shoot their wedding at this venue! A few things I LOVED about their wedding— the bridesmaids dresses were each different colors that complimented each other super well, Rachel’s wedding dress was sooo elegant and beautiful, their first look was so sweet and intimate, their ceremony was Gospel-centered, and their reception was filled with so much liveliness! The entire wedding day truly reflected Will and Rachel’s personality, and it was amazing to not only shoot their wedding, but to celebrate alongside them as dear friends!
